Free PS3 HD Movies

Thursday, March 22nd, 2007

When Sony’s PS3 was first released, much was made of the blu-ray disc format that enables you to watch movies in a far higher resolution than DVD. However, even if you don’t have a High Definition (HD) television connected to your PS3, or you don’t feel the benefits of blu-ray disc are part of your needs right now, you can still watch high-definition movies on and about your PS3 with a variety of sources.

Buying A PS3 From Japan

Wednesday, March 21st, 2007

Ever since the halcyon days of the Mega Drive and SNES, any video game console launch has usually met with feverous response, and not just in Japan. Although Japan is still predominantly the most fanatical when it comes to video games, the rise in popularity of import gaming has led to the western countries such as the US and Europe to become as excited as the Japanese market when it comes to new hardware launches. The extent of this popularity became apparent when Sony’s latest machine, the PlayStation 3, became a high profile victim of import difficulties.

Playstation 3 Overheating Woes

Saturday, January 20th, 2007

It wasn’t a good showing for Sony at the Tokyo Games Show in September 2006.  They were showing off their eagerly anticipated new Playstation 3 consoles and the demo machines were sputtering and dying left and right.  This was more bad news piled on top of what was already a public relations nightmare with recent recall fisaco of Sony’s lithium ion batteries.

Yet despite its high price, retailers were sold out in a matter of hours and others were auctioned on eBay for a lot more than the retail price.

The 60GB PS3 Features

Tuesday, January 9th, 2007

As DVD playback completed the Sony Playstation 2 as more than just game machine, heavily built multimedia characteristics make the new Sony 60GB Playstation 3 more flexible as a home entertainment machine than any other previous consoles. News About The PS3

Monday, November 6th, 2006

Most people know about Wikipedia these days: It’s the largest user-built encyclopædia around. Widely anticipated products like the Sony PS3 tend to get almost constant attention during crucial periods within the launch window, and it’s hard to find another site that lists the known facts, and where they’re from, in an orderly manner. While it’s not the ideal choice for the very latest news on the PS3, it is good for ascertaining what is rumour, what is idle speculation, and what has been confirmed, denied, promised, reneged on, or retracted by the company. System specs and lists of games are also easy to find here.
